FLORES TOUR (The Three Colored Lake Adventure)

DAY 01. DENPASAR – MAUMERE (L,D)
Around noon transfer to Bali Ngurah Rai Airport to catch your two-hour flight to Maumere Flores. Upon arrival at Waioti Airport, a 20 minute drive to Maumere town and check-in at FLORES SAO RESORT. Before dinner, time to relax at the pool or beach.
DAY 02. MAUMERE - KELIMUTU – MAUMERE (B,L,D)
After an early morning breakfast at 3.30 AM we drive up to Kelimutu volcano (100 km) to see the three colored lakes. After a 1,5 km walk to the ridge we ascend the 127 steps to the top for the spectacular view over Kelimutu's green, blue and black lakes. Next, we descend to the Moni village with the beautiful hand woven clothes and fabrics, then visit Kowanara village, famous for its traditional Lionese houses. Lunch will be served at a local restaurant in Wolowaru. After lunch, we continue to Wolosoko - a village, perched on a hill overlooking the main road. Proceed to Maumere with several stops made, depending on local events. Return to your hotel.
DAY 03. MAUMERE (B,L,D)
After breakfast we visit Wuring village and see the floating houses built on stilts above the sea. Next, drive up to Ledalero - a major Catholic Seminary - to visit the museum with its various collections of the local royal families' old portraits, antique hand woven fabrics, stagedeon fossils, etc. Proceed to Sikka village - a center of "Ikat" weaving to see the traditional looms and weaving process afterwards a visit to an Old Portuguese church built in the 16th Century. Return to hotel.
DAY 04. MAUMERE - OUT
After breakfast transfer to the Airport and depart to your next destination.
