FLORES TOUR (Culture, Nature & Wild Life Adventure)

DAY 01. MAUMERE – ARRIVAL (D)
Around noon transfer to Bali Ngurah Rai Airport to catch your two-hour flight to Maumere Flores. upon arrival at Waioti Airport a 20 minute drive to Maumere town and check-in at FLORES SAO RESORT. Before dinner time to relax at the pool or beach.
DAY 02. MAUMERE – DETUSOKO (B,L,D)
Breakfast at hotel. Drive-up to Detusoko (95 km) with several stops around Ledalero - a major Catholic Seminary - to visit the museum with its various collection of the local royal families' old portraits, antique hand woven clothes, stagedeon fossils, etc. Proceed to Sikka village - a center of "Ikat" weaving to see the traditional looms and weaving process and an old Portugese church built in the 16th Century. On to Wolowaru for a lunch break. Continue to Detusoko, on arrival check-in at Wisma St. Franciskus - a missionary Guest House.
DAY 03. DETUSOKO – BAJAWA (B,L,D)
After an early morning breakfast at 5.30 AM we drive up to Kelimutu volcano to see the three colored lakes. After a 1,5 km walk to the ridge we ascend the 127 steps to the top for the spectaculair view over Kelimutu's green, blue and black lakes. Next we descend to the Moni village with the beautiful hand woven clothes and fabrics, then visit Kowanara village, famous for its traditional Lionese houses. Lunch will be served at a local restaurant in Ende. We continue our drive to Bajawa with a stop at Boawae – a village of The Nagekeo tribes- to observe their tradition and culture. We proceed through a scenic road to Wogo - another traditional Bajawanese village with a beautiful view over the valley. Accommodation at Hotel Kembang.
DAY 04. BAJAWA – RIUNG (B,L,D)
Breakfast at hotel. Explore traditional village of Bajawa tribes. Then on to Bena - a megalithic village where people preserve their ancestral spirits in their "Ngadhu" and "Bhaga" . Ngadu and Bhaga are conical thatched roof huts symbolizing their Male and Female spirits. On the way to Riung we stop at the slope of Inerie, a still active volcano. Further on the way to Riung we have a break at Soa - a natural hot spring- lunch will be served and there is time to rest your body in the unctuous well. Continue to Riung and stay overnight at Pondok Soverdi.
DAY 05.RIUNG (B,L,D)
After breakfast we take a walk through National Park and take a look at the daily live of the Giant Lizard - Varanus Riungensis. Return to the lodge for having lunch,Afterwards we take a boat trip to explore the spectacular sea garden of the seventeen islands. Return to hotel.
DAY 06. RIUNG – MAUMERE (B,L,D)
Breakfast at hotel. Drive back to Maumere along the panoramic coastal road with several stops for rest and pictures. On arrival in Maumere direct check-in to Sea world club for accommodation and dinner.
DAY 07. MAUMERE – OUT (B)
Breakfast at hotel. Transfer to the Airport for departure to your next destination.
