SPECIAL NOTE: ITINERARY AND PROGRAM TORAJA

It is impressive to see the traditional market at Rantepao and the famous funeral ceremonies in the villages. Our guide will definitely tell you if these events are possible to visit during the time of your stay. Funerals are random but most frequent around August and September. The traditional market is once a week on different days.
It is also possible to join a white water rafting tour. The rafting itself is doable for everyone and you need no experience at all. However it is not recommended for bad walkers. because it takes about one hour walk downhill through sometimes steep and slippery rice fields to reach the point of embarkation. A really beautiful scenery!
